Removing programs or getting rid of the most stubborn ones is not always an easy task. Some apps have the tendency to remain on your PC forever, and thus they hide their true location, conceal their icons, or leave behind traces and leftover files without your knowledge. Revo Uninstaller Pro offers you all the tools you need to remove all of these programs and all traces of them for good.
The program opens in a clean and attractive interface where you can choose the items to remove from your PC from various lists – All Programs, Traced Programs, Windows Apps, Browser Extensions, and Logs Database. Additionally, if you set the program in Hunter Mode, Revo Uninstaller Pro will turn into a gun-sight icon that you use to point at and kill any unwanted process. Apart from uninstalling any program, you can point it at, you can also use Hunter Mode to remove it from the start-up or to find its containing folder.
Standard uninstall processes are performed in three steps. The first one creates a backup of your Registry and a System Restore Point, though you can skip these tasks at any time if you believe they’re taking too long. The second step will locate the program’s built-in uninstaller and will launch it for you. The third step requires you to select the type of scan you want the program to perform in search of leftover files and other traces (Safe, Moderate, or Advanced) and click on the Scan button to run it. Personally, I prefer it when the program itself performs both actions in one single operation with as little intervention from the user as possible. more
